The House met at 2:00 p.m.

On the motion of Mr. Wenman, Bill (No. 46) intituled

An Act to Amend the Public Schools Act was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

Pursuant to Order, the House again resolved itself into the Committee of Supply.

The Committee rose, reported progress, and asked leave to sit again.

The Honourable W.K. Kiernan, Minister of Recreation and Conservation, presented the Annual Report of the Department of Recreation and Conservation for the year ended December 31, 1970 (in manuscript form).

The House adjourned at 5:57 p.m.

The House met at 8:00 p.m.

Pursuant to Order, the House again resolved itself into the Committee of Supply.

The Committee reported Resolutions 3 to 17, inclusive, (Estimates of

the Department of Agriculture), and asked leave to sit again.

The Honourable R.R. Loffmark, Minister of Health Services and Hospital Insurance, presented the following:

Annual Report of the Mental Health Branch , Department of Health Services and Hospital Insurance, for the year 1970.

Twenty-second Annual Report of the British Columbia Hospital Insurance Servic e, covering the calendar year 1970.

Seventy-fourth Annual Report of the Public Health Services of British Columbia , for the year ended December 31,1970.

The Honourable L.R. Peterson, Minister of Labour, presented the Fifty-fourth Annual Report of the Workmen's Compensation Board , for the year ended December 31, 1970.

The House adjourned at 10:28 p.m.
