OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing dated February 5, 1998, pursuant to subsections 4(1), (2), (7) and (11) of

Chapter 117 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Dairy Commission Act, is pleased to: (1) appoint John R.M. Akerman, Q.C. of Truro, Colchester County, as an independent member and Chair of the Nova Scotia Dairy Commission for a term of office of three years effective May 1, 1998, unless sooner revoked; (2) determine that the remuneration for the Chair of the Nova Scotia Dairy Commission be: (a) $36,000.00 for the period from May 1, 1998 to April 30, 1999 (b) $38,000.00 for the period from May 1, 1999 to April 30, 2000; and (c) $40,000.00 for the period from May 1, 2000 to April 30, 2001.
