Order in Council 222/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty The Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Maud Murray

be appointed Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, including responsibility for Small Business and Red Tape Reduction, on an interim basis, effective March 2, 2022, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding six months from the effective date of this appointment.

And that Orders in Council O.C. 327/2020, dated February 26, 2020, and O.C. 1575/2021, dated November 24, 2021 be revoked effective March 2, 2022.
