Section of the Clean Water Act,

chapter C-6.1 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1989, is amended by adding after paragraph 3(

k) the following: 1 L’article de la

partie de l’eau d’un cours d’eau; (k.2) excluding all or any portion of the water of a watercourse from classification; k.2) excluant de la classification tout ou

partie de l’eau d’un cours d’eau; (k.3) providing the Minister with the discretion to de- termine the suitability of classification of the water of a watercourse; k.3) permettant au Ministre de déterminer si selon lui l’eau d’un cours d’eau convient à une classification; (k.4) respecting the criteria or standards that a class of water is to meet; k.4) établissant les critères que doit remplir une caté- gorie d’eau ou les normes auxquelles elle doit répondre; (k.5) providing the Minister with the discretion to de- termine whether the water of a watercourse meets the criteria or standards of a particular class before it is classified; k.5) permettant au Ministre de déterminer si selon lui l’eau d’un cours d’eau remplit les critères ou répond aux normes correspondant à une catégorie d’eau, et ce avant sa classification; (k.6) providing that the water of a watercourse may be classified into a class where the water is intended by the Minister to meet or eventually meet the standards or criteria applicable to the class of water; k.6) permettant que l’eau d’un cours d’eau soit clas- sée dans une catégorie particulière, si le Ministre estime qu’elle remplira les critères ou répondra aux normes correspondant à cette catégorie ou qu’elle remplira 1 éventuellement ces critères ou répondra éventuellement à ces normes; (k.7) prohibiting any activity that might impair the quality or quantity of the water of a watercourse that is classified; k.7) interdisant toute activité susceptible de porter at- teinte à la qualité ou à la quantité de l’eau d’un cours d’eau qui est classée; (k.8) respecting procedures, consultations or evalua- tions that are to be followed or undertaken before the water of a watercourse may be classified or excluded from a classification; k.8) établissant la procédure à suivre et les consulta- tions ou les évaluations à entreprendre avant de pouvoir classer l’eau d’un cours d’eau ou l’exclure d’une clas- sification; (k.81) respecting conditions to be satisfied before the water of a watercourse is classified; k.81) fixant les conditions à remplir avant que l’eau d’un cours d’eau soit classée; (k.82) imposing restrictions on the classification of the water of a watercourse; k.82) imposant des restrictions à la classification de l’eau d’un cours d’eau; (k.83) establishing or requiring the Minister to estab- lish a review panel to provide advice to the Minister on the classification of the water of a watercourse; k.83) établissant ou exigeant du Ministre qu’il éta- blisse un comité de révision chargé de le conseiller au sujet de la classification de l’eau d’un cours d’eau; (k.84) prescribing the composition of a review panel, terms of office of members of the panel, the election or appointment of officers, the duties and responsibilities of the panel, the reimbursement of expenses of and the payments of an allowance to members of the panel when carrying out their duties and any other matters relating to the operation of a panel; k.84) prévoyant la composition d’un comité de révi- sion, le mandat de ses membres, l’élection ou la nomi- nation de ses dirigeants, ses attributions, le paiement d’indemnités à ses membres et le remboursement des dépenses qu’ils auront exposées dans l’exercice de leurs attributions ainsi que toutes autres questions relatives à son fonctionnement; Projet de loi Loi modifiant la
