Under the authority of

section 3 of the Municipalities Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

The boundaries of the Town of

St. George's

are as set out in the Schedule.

Regulations 805/78 and 326/83 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point, that point being at the highwater mark on the southern shoreline of Flat Bay, that point being locally known as Mystery Bridge Point;

Then south 15 34' east a distance of 2,900 metres, more or less, to a point, that point being the intersection of the northern bank of Flat Bay Brook and the northern bank of Dribble Brook;

Then in a generally northeasterly direction along the northern bank of Dribble Brook a distance of approximately 7,500 metres, more or less;

Then north 18 04' west a distance of 2,400 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern limit of the C.N.R. right-of-way;

Then along the south limit of the right-of-way in a generally northeasterly direction a distance of approximately 2,500 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern bank of Little Barachois Brook where the C.N.R. right-of-way intersects Little Barachois Brook;

Then along the southern bank of Little Barachois Brook in a generally westerly and northerly direction a distance of approximately 1,000 metres to a point where Little Barachois Brook flows into

St. George's

Harbour

Flat

Bay

Then along the southern shoreline of

St. George's

Harbour

in a generally southwesterly direction passing Indian Cove, Long Point, Rocky Point and Shallop Point a distance of approximately 8,500 metres to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to grid north and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 Mapping, 1972 edition.
