OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act dated June 6, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Wanda MacDonald of Boylston, Guysborough County, Verona Singer of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford), Michelle M. Kelly of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Nadine Bernard of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Westmount) and Serena A. Lewis of Great Village, Colchester County as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women, each for a term of office of 2 years commencing July 15, 2014; and (

b) order that Wanda MacDonald, Verona Singer, Michelle M. Kelly, Nadine Bernard and Serena A. Lewis be remunerated for their services in the amount of $100.00 per day for Council meetings and be reimbursed for such actual and reasonable travelling and other expenses as may reasonably be incurred by them in their performance of their duties, payable in accordance with the travel policies and guidelines of the Province of Nova Scotia.
