Order in Council 1599/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to clause 10(

a) of the Education Act the Minister of Education may appoint such advisory or consultative bodies as may be considered necessary by the Minister from time to time;

And

whereas subsection 3(1) of Ontario Regulation 43/10 (Provincial Interest in Education) made under the Education Act permits the Minister of Education to appoint an individual to conduct a review of the performance of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board;

And

whereas the Minister of Education intends to appoint an individual to conduct a review of the performance of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board;

Therefore , the individual appointed by the Minister of Education shall be, for the period of the appointment specified in the Minister’s appointment letter:

Paid up to a maximum of $1,200 for every full day worked on the review and $600 for every half day worked, with total remuneration for each individual not exceeding $72,000;

Reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties in conducting the review in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet’s Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive .
