OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated April 30, 2024, and pursuant to
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (
a) revoke Order in Council 2022-187 dated July 19, 2022; (
b) authorize the conveyance of two parcels of surplus land for market value, Lot No. 1 including a residential building with outbuildings and Lot 3A, both located at 8 Beechwood Lane in Conway, Digby County, containing a total area of 2.7 acres, saving and excepting Beechwood Lane Extension Parcel GJA-2 with an area of 0.134 hectares (0.33 acres), more or less, more particularly described in
Schedule “A” and as shown on
Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (
c) authorize the Minister of Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (
d) authorize the Minister of Public Works to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
