An Act to Amend the Tobacco Tax Act Loi modifiant la Loi de la taxe sur le tabac Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

Section of the Tobacco Tax Act,

chapter T-7 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is repealed and the following is substituted: 1 L’article de la Loi de la taxe sur le tabac, chapi- tre T-7 des Lois révisées de 1973, est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit : 3 Every consumer of tobacco purchased at a retail sale in the Province, for the purpose of raising a revenue, shall pay to Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province at the time of making the purchase a tax in respect of the consumption of the tobacco at the rate of Tout consommateur de tabac acheté à une vente au détail dans la province doit, afin de lui procurer des fonds, payer à Sa Majesté la Reine du chef de la province au mo- ment où il achète ce tabac, une taxe de consommation sur ce tabac aux taux de (

b) on and after March 27, 2013, 19 cents on each cigarette purchased,

c) from March 23, 2011, to March 26, 2013, both dates inclusive, 50% of the normal retail price of each cigar purchased,

c) à partir du mars jusqu’au mars 2013, les deux dates étant incluses, 50 % du prix normal de vente au détail de chaque cigare acheté; (

d) on and after March 27, 2013, 75% of the normal retail price of each cigar purchased,

d) le mars et après cette date, 75 % du prix normal de vente au détail sur chaque cigare acheté; (

e) from March 23, 2011, to March 26, 2013, both dates inclusive, 14.70 cents on each tobacco stick pur- chased,

e) à partir du mars jusqu’au mars 2013, les deux dates étant incluses, 14,70 cents sur chaque cylindre de tabac acheté; 1 (

f) on and after March 27, 2013, 19 cents on each to- bacco stick purchased,

f) le mars et après cette date, 19 cents sur chaque cylindre de tabac acheté; (

g) from March 23, 2011, to March 26, 2013, both dates inclusive, 13.74 cents on each gram or any portion of a gram of any tobacco purchased other than ciga- rettes, cigars or tobacco sticks, and

g) à partir du mars jusqu’au mars 2013, les deux dates étant incluses, 13,74 cents par gramme ou fraction de gramme sur tout tabac acheté à l’excep- tion des cigarettes, des cigares ou des cylindres de tabac; (

h) on and after March 27, 2013, 19 cents on each gram or any portion of a gram of any tobacco purchased other than cigarettes, cigars or tobacco sticks.
