OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated September 19, 2024, and pursuant to Sections 238 and 239 of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased, effective on and after November 12, 2024, to: (

a) appoint Genna Squires as a full-time Appeal Commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal for a term of office of two (2) years, subject to dismissal for just cause; (

b) fix the remuneration of Genna Squires as a full-time Appeal Commissioner in accordance with a salary range equivalent to the Excluded Classification Pay Plan (EC 12) in the range of $87,149.92 - $119,832.18, subject to all applicable enactments, regulations, and policies of the Public Service Commission with respect to the Excluded Classification Pay Plan (EC 12); (

c) order that Civil Service benefits be extended to Genna Squires as a full-time Appeal Commissioner of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal on the same terms and conditions as they are extended to members of the Civil Service.
