OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Nova Scotia Sport and Recreation Commission dated February 2, 1999, pursuant to
Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, as amended, the Public Service Act, and
Chapter 70 of the said Revised Statutes, as amended, the Civil Service Act, is pleased, effective April 1, 1999, to: (
a) appoint F.A. (Tony) Martin as Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Sport and Recreation Commission; (
b) designate F.A. (Tony) Martin as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and direct that he receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head; (
c) designate F.A. (Tony) Martin, in respect of his appointment as Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Sport and Recreation Commission, to be an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (
d) fix and determine the salary of F.A. (Tony) Martin, in respect of his appointment as Executive Director of the Nova Scotia Sport and Recreation Commission, to be paid at such rate as may be determined by the Priorities and Planning Committee in accordance with the Management Compensation Pay Plan approved from time to time by the Governor in Council.
