OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism dated August 12, 1998, pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 34 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Bedford Waterfront Development Corporation Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of the Bedford Waterfront Development Corporation, on the recommendation of the Halifax Regional Council, each to hold office for a term commencing August 17, 1997, and ending November 10, 2000: Paul Diamond of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Doug Williams of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

b) appoint the following person as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bedford Waterfront Development Corporation, on the recommendation of the Halifax Regional Council, to hold office for a term commencing August 18, 1998, and ending November 10, 2000: Cedric Pilkington of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

c) appoint Paul Diamond as Acting Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bedford Waterfront Development Corporation; (

d) approve the payment of remuneration in the amount of $200 for the Acting Chair of the Board and $100 for each member of the Board, for each day spent at Board meetings; and (

e) approve the payment of necessary and reasonable expenses of the Board members incurred in connection with the meetings of the Board.
