An Act to Amend the Members’ Conflict of Interest Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1 The Members’ Conflict of Interest Act,

chapter M-7.01 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1999, is amended by adding after subsection 22(8) the following: 22(9) The selection committee shall be established not fewer than 90 days before the end of the term of the Com- missioner. 22(10) If the office of Commissioner becomes vacant more than one year before the end of the term of the Com- missioner, the selection committee shall be established within 30 days after the vacancy occurs. Loi sur les conflits d’intérêts des députés et des membres du Conseil exécutif, cha- pitre M-7.01 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 1999, est modifiée par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après le pa- ragraphe 22(8) : 22(9) Le comité de sélection est constitué au moins jours avant la fin du mandat du Commissaire. 22(10) Si le poste de Commissaire devient vacant plus d’un an avant la fin du mandat du Commissaire, le comité de sélection est constitué dans les jours suivant la va- cance.
