OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources, dated May 16, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve the issuance of a lease by the Minister of Natural Resources of a parcel of Crown land containing 15.7 hectares (38.8 acres), more or less, situate at Lewis Lake, in the County of Halifax, and shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to Girl Guides of Canada - Guides du Canada, in trust, for Camp Lewis Lake, with its head office in Toronto, Province of Ontario, its heirs, successors, trustees and permitted assigns for the purpose of maintaining and operating a girl guide camp with associated buildings and for no other purpose, for a term of ten (10) years at an annual rent of $196.25 with the right to renew the lease and continue in force for a further ten (10) year term at a rent and administration fee to be fixed by the Lessor, provided that the Lessee has satisfactorily complied with terms and conditions of the lease; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this order.
