Order in Council 1940/2016

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

and

whereas paragraph 4 (1) (

j) of the Environmental Protection Act provides that the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, for the purposes of the administration and enforcement of the Act and the regulations, may, with the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council, enter into an agreement with any government or person relating to the protection and conservation of the natural environment;

now therefore:

Pursuant to paragraph 4 (1) (

j) of the Environmental Protection Act , the execution of the “Canada-Ontario Environmental Occurrences Notification Agreement”, attached as

Schedule “A”, by the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, is hereby approved.
