OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated October 12, 2017, and pursuant to
Section 18 of
Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act , and
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (
a) extinguish the right of the public to use a portion of No. 366 Highway, containing 1,389 square feet, more or less, at or near Northport, Cumberland County, which is more particularly described in
Schedule “A” and identified as Lot 2017-1 on the plan marked
Schedule “B”, which schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (
b) authorize the transfer of administration and control of the surplus property to Her Majesty the Queen in the Right of Canada for the nominal consideration of $1.00; (
c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Transfer of Administration and Control of Crown Land document in such form as the Minister determines to effect the transfer of the lands herein above described; and (
d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such other documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
