OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated March 9, 2000, pursuant to subsection 3(2) of
Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act, is pleased to appoint the following persons as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women each for a term of office commencing April 1, 2000, and ending March 31, 2002: Doreen Paris of New Glasgow, Pictou County; M. Chantal Richard of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Cheryl Bell of R.R.#4 Bridgewater, Lunenburg County; Sheila Lewis of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County; and Linda Carvery of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality.
