Order in Council 482/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

the portions of highway in the Town of Tecumseh, Geographic Townships of Sandwich South, Sandwich East and Sandwich West, and the Town of LaSalle, Geographic Township of Sandwich West, County of Essex, under the jurisdiction and control of the Ministry of Transportation, described in

Schedule “A” attached, be:

designated as the King’s Highway, pursuant to

Section 7 of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990,

chapter P.50, as amended; and

transferred to the Corporation of the County of Essex, and be vested in and under the jurisdiction and control of the Corporation of the County of Essex on and after the day on which this Order is approved, pursuant to subsection 29(4) of the Public Transportation and Highway Improvement Act, R.S.O. 1990,

Chapter P.50, as amended.
