Collingwood BILL Pr5 SUK YIN POON ADOPTION ACT (Assented to , 1994) WHEREAS Kien Lee and Joyce Lee wish to adopt Suk Yin Poon; and WHEREAS Suk Yin Poon, who wishes to be adopted by Kien Lee and Joyce Lee, is now 18 years of age and the Child Welfare Act only provides for the adoption of persons under the age of 18 years; and WHEREAS Kien Lee and Joyce Lee have presented a petition praying that it be enacted as set forth and it is expedient to grant the prayer of the petition; THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1 Suk Yin Poon is hereby declared to be the lawful daughter of Kien Lee and Joyce Lee and to have all the rights and privileges that devolve on her as their daughter under the laws of the Province. 1 Title: 1994 (23rd, 2nd) Bill Pr5, Suk Yin Poon Adoption Act
