OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Community Services dated October 21, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 26 of

Chapter 211 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Housing Act, is pleased, effective on and after November 12, 2008, to (

a) amend the Provincial Housing Emergency Repair Program Regulations, N.S. Reg. 214/2005, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2005-496 dated November 4, 2005, to revise the household income limits to be consistent with recent changes made by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) amend the Senior Citizens Assistance Program Regulations, N.S. Reg. 215/2005, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2005-496 dated November 4, 2005, to revise the household income limits to be consistent with recent changes made by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and to update the income limit for certain 1-bedroom households to reflect federal indexation of Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Supplement payments, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation.
