OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated September 13, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, is pleased to designate as a controlled access highway the following sections of highway in the County of Halifax: (

a) Aerotech Drive, for a distance of approximately 5 km, between the roundabout at its intersection with the southbound off and on ramps at Exit 5A of Highway 102 and its intersection with the roundabout at Aerotech Drive/Trunk 2/Sunnylea Road; (

b) the roundabout at the intersection of Aerotech Drive and the southbound off/on ramps at Exit 5A on Highway 102; (

c) all new and existing ramps at Exit 5A; (

d) the roundabout at the intersection of Aerotech Drive/Trunk 2/Sunnylea Road; (

e) two sections of Trunk 2, 100 metres north and 100 metres south of the Aerotech Drive/Trunk 2/Sunnylea Road Roundabout; and (

f) a

section of Sunnylea Road from the roundabout at Aerotech Drive/Trunk 2/Sunnylea Road to the property boundary of CN Rail (PID 40787392); all as shown on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
