OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister Responsible for the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act dated August 21, 2001, pursuant to Sections 9, 10, 12 and 15 of

Chapter 3 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1987, the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act and to

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased, effective July 3, 2001, to: (

a) appoint Michael D. Casey of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a non-civil servant member of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board for a term of office of six years; and (

b) determine that Michael D. Casey shall receive an annual retainer of $5,000.00 and $300.00 per day for each day spent on Board business and that he shall be reimbursed for reasonable traveling expenses in accordance with the Nova Scotia Government Management Manual.
