Order in Council 1267/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Lieutenant Governor in Council established the Skilled Trades Panel by Order in Council made under

section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act ;

Therefore , pursuant to

section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act and subsection 76(2) of the Legislation Act, 2006 :

Each member of the Skilled Trades Panel appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall be remunerated at the rate of:

$398 for each day that he or she is engaged as a member of the Skilled Trades Panel, provided that he or she is engaged for more than 3 hours for that particular day, subject to (c);

$199 for each day that he or she is engaged as a member of the Skilled Trades Panel, provided that he or she is engaged for 3 hours or less for that particular day, subject to (c);

The sum of the amounts paid under (

a) and (

b) shall not exceed $75,000 for the term of the appointment.

In addition to the remuneration set out above, each member of the Skilled Trades Panel shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred in carrying out their duties as a member of the Skilled Trades Panel in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.
