OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated May 8, 2000, pursuant to subsection 114(4) of

Chapter C-8 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, as amended, the Canada Pension Plan, is pleased to confirm that the Government of the Province of Nova Scotia hereby signifies its consent to the proposed amendment ("redemption at request of province") to

section 110 of the Canada Pension Plan in the form and substance of the draft amendment as set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation. This Order shall come into force only on the day the Governor in Council fixes for the coming into force of the proposed amendment to the Canada Pension Plan in form and substance unchanged from the form and substance as set out in

Schedule "A".
