OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated January 10, 2006, pursuant to

Section 33 of

Chapter 5 of the Acts of 1993, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Dwight Bishop, of Wolfville, Kings County, as Acting Review Officer for the purpose of conducting reviews pursuant to

Section 32 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, commencing January 24, 2006; and (

b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Dwight Bishop and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
