B.C. Reg. 227/2016 , deposited September 20, 2016, under the FAMILY MAINTENANCE ENFORCEMENT ACT [sections 15 and 51]. Order in Council 669/2016, approved and ordered September 19, 2016.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective October 1, 2016, the Family Maintenance Enforcement Act Regulation, B.C. Reg. 346/88, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule
Section 1 of the Family Maintenance Enforcement Act Regulation, B.C. Reg. 346/88, is repealed and the following substituted:
Interpretation
(1) In this regulation, “Act” means the Family Maintenance Enforcement Act .
(2) In the Act, “clerk of the court” means a person, however described, that performs the duties of a clerk of the court.
Section 3 is amended
(
a) by repealing subsection (1) (
b) and substituting the following:
(
b) the following notices of attachment:
(
i) for attachment of a debtor ’ s federal salary, as defined in
section 13 (1), notice of attachment (net pay);
(ii) for attachment in any other case, notice of attachment (gross pay); , and
(
b) by adding the following subsection:
(1.1) More than one notice of attachment referred to in subsection (1) (
b) may be served on an attachee in respect of the same debtor.
Section 10 is repealed.
4 The
Schedule is amended
(
a) by repealing the Notice of Attachment (net pay) form and substituting the form in the attached Appendix 1, and
(
b) by repealing the Notice of Attachment (gross pay) form and substituting the form in the attached Appendix 2.
