OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated January 26, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 9 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the AIDS Advisory Commission Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Denise Rooney of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member and designate her as Chair of the Advisory Commission on AIDS for a three (3) year term commencing March 7, 2017; (

b) determine that Denise Rooney will be remunerated for her services as Chair of the Advisory Commission on AIDS in the amount of $1,000 per annum, to be paid on a pro rata basis; (

c) appoint Lynn Stevenson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Rosanne LeBlanc of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) and William (Bill) C. Hart of Halifax Regional Municipality (Tantallon) as members of the Advisory Commission on AIDS each for a three (3) year term commencing March 7, 2017; and (

d) confirm that reasonable expenses incurred by the Chair and all other members in connection with the work of the Advisory Commission on AIDS will be paid in accordance with policies and guidelines applicable to civil servants.
