OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Trade dated May 28, 2025, and pursuant to subsection 4(1) and clause 5(1)(

c) of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 2025, the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , is pleased to: (

a) determine that the Province of British Columbia is a reciprocating jurisdiction within the meaning of the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , effective on and after the date that

Part 1 of British Columbia’s Economic Stabilization (Tariff Response) Act , being Bill 7 proposed in the First Session of the 43rd Parliament, and as may be amended, comes into force, continuing until such time as the Governor in Council determines otherwise; (

b) determine that the Province of Manitoba is a reciprocating jurisdiction within the meaning of the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , effective on and after the date that Manitoba’s Fair Trade in Canada (Internal Trade Mutual Recognition) Act , being Bill 47 proposed in the Second Session of the 43rd Legislature, and as may be amended, comes into force, continuing until such time as the Governor in Council determines otherwise; (

c) determine that the Province of Ontario is a reciprocating jurisdiction within the meaning of the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , effective on and after the date that Ontario’s Protect Ontario through Free Trade within Canada Act, 2025 , being Bill 2 proposed in the First Session of the 44th Parliament, and as may be amended, comes into force, continuing until such time as the Governor in Council determines otherwise; and (

d) determine that Canada is a reciprocating jurisdiction within the meaning of the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , effective on and after the date that Canada has legislation in force removing all federal barriers to the free movement of goods between the Province and all other jurisdictions within Canada, continuing until such time as the Governor in Council determines otherwise.
