OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated February 23, 2021, and pursuant to

Section 4B of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective February 23, 2021, to: (

a) create the Office of Mental Health & Addictions; (

b) direct that the Office shall be presided over by the Minister of Health and Wellness who has the supervision, direction and control of all affairs and matters relating to the Office and who shall supervise the performance of the functions of the Office; and (

c) direct that the Chief Executive Officer of the Office may be referred to as the Chief Officer of Mental Health & Addictions.
