Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Advanced Education dated May 26, 2022, and pursuant to Sections 5 and 6 of

Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1991, the University Foundations Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Rod Morrison of Wolfville, Kings County, as a member, made under clause 5(1)(

b) of the University Foundations Act , to the Acadia University Foundation made by Order in Council 2019-354 dated December 17, 2019; and (

b) appoint Nancy Handrigan of Port Williams, Kings County, as a member under clause 5(1)(

b) of the University Foundations Act , and designate her as Chair to the Acadia University Foundation for a term of three (3) years commencing June 30, 2022.
