Definitions

1 In this regulation,

"designated provincial snowmobile trail" means a snowmobile trail that is marked by signs that are posted or erected in accordance with

section 2; (« sentier provincial de motoneige désigné »)

"snowmobile" has the same meaning as in The Off-Road Vehicles Act . (« motoneige »)

« sentier provincial de motoneige désigné » Sentier de motoneige indiqué par des panneaux installés conformément à l'article 2. ("designated provincial snowmobile trail")

Snowmobile trail designated by signs

2(1) The minister may designate a provincial snowmobile trail on Crown lands by posting or erecting signs at each end of the trail indicating that it is a designated provincial snowmobile trail.

Désignation des sentiers de motoneige

2(1) Le ministre peut désigner des sentiers provinciaux de motoneige sur des terres domaniales en faisant installer des panneaux à cet effet aux extrémités de chaque sentier désigné.

2(2) The existence of a sign referred to in subsection (1) is prima facie proof that it was properly posted or erected under this regulation.

2(2) La présence des panneaux mentionnés au paragraphe (1) établit, en l'absence de preuve contraire, qu'ils ont été installés conformément au présent règlement.

2(3) No person shall damage, destroy, deface or remove a sign that is posted or erected under the authority of this regulation.
