OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated April 19, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased, effective May 10, 2022, to authorize the Attorney General and Minister of Justice entering into an amended funding Contribution Agreement between Nova Scotia and Canada regarding the Nova Scotia Indigenous Courtwork Program to enhance the Province's ability to provide Indigenous people in Nova Scotia with the opportunity to address issues that may have contributed to their engagement in the justice system, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as the Minister determines are necessary, including budgetary redistributions, that do not materially change the nature of the agreement.
