OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy and the Minister of Finance dated February 22, 2005, and pursuant to Sections 2 and 17 of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, effective on and after March 11, 2005, is pleased to: (

a) establish as a special fund within the meaning of the Provincial Finance Act, the Pengrowth Nova Scotia Energy Scholarship Fund; (

b) authorize the Fund to be administered in accordance with the provisions set out in the Project Concept Proposal for the Pengrowth Nova Scotia Energy Scholarship Program attached hereto as

Schedule "A" and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Energy to deposit (i) $500,000 to the Fund, (ii) other funds allocated by the Department of Energy, and (iii) other funds which may be contributed to the Fund through such things as bequests, grants and donations.
