B.C. Reg. 19/2003, deposited January 23, 2003, pursuant to the PHARMACISTS, PHARMACY OPERATIONS AND DRUG SCHEDULING ACT [Section 64]. Order in Council 54/2003, approved and ordered January 23, 2003.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Drug Schedules Regulation, B.C. Reg. 9/98, is amended as set out in the attached Resolutions of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia dated September 20, 2002. — S. HAWKINS, Minister of Health Planning; C. CLARK, Presiding Member of the Executive Council.
Resolution of the Council of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia ("the Council"), made at Vancouver, British Columbia, the 20 day of September 2002.
RESOLVED THAT:
In accordance with the authority established in
Section 64 of The Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 363 of British Columbia, the Council amends the Drug Schedules Regulation as set out in the attached schedule, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant Governor in Council. — Certified a true copy, L. J. LYTLE, B.Sc. (Phr.), R.Ph., CAE, Registrar.

That, effective immediately, the Drug Schedules Regulation be amended by the addition of:
Alfuzosin and its salts
Amprenavir and its salts and derivatives
Bosentan and its salts and derivatives
Caspofungin and its salts and derivatives
Doxercalciferol and its derivatives
Esomeprazole and its salts
Galantamine and its salts and derivatives
Imatinib and its salts
Mirtazapine and its salts
Nateglinide and its salts and derivatives
Tenecteplase and its salts and derivatives
Verteporfin and its salts and derivatives

RESOLVED THAT:

Schedule
That, effective immediately, the Drug Schedules Regulation be amended by the deletion of:
Cetirizine and its salts (when sold in concentrations of 8.5 mg or less of cetirizine base per dosage unit)
Dextromethorphan and its salts
And the addition of:
Cetirizine and its salts (in concentrations of 10 mg equivalent to 8.5 mg or less of cetirizine base per dosage unit) in products marketed for pediatric use (under 12 years of age)
Dextromethorphan and its salts (except in oral dosage forms in package sizes containing no more than 300 mg)
