HIEBERT First Reading Second Reading Committee of the Whole Third Reading Royal Assent Title: 1981 (19th, 3rd) Bill 65, Expropriation Amendment Act, 1981 Bill BILL 65 EXPROPRIATION AMENDMENT ACT, 1981 (Assented to , 1981) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1 The Expropriation Act is amended by this Act. 2

Schedule is amended (

a) in

section by striking out “79,”; (

b) by adding the following after

section 7: 8. The Mines and Minerals Act Cancellations or refusals to renew under

section 12.1(1)(

c) In accordance with section 4(1) of The Interpre tation Act, 1980, this Bill comes into force on the date it receives Royal Assent. 1 Explanatory Notes This Act will amend

chapter of the Statutes of Alberta, 1974. 2 Amends

Schedule by striking out a reference to

section of The Public Lands Act and adding as an exemption cancellations or refusals to renew under
