OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated January 17, 2007, pursuant to Sections 2(a), (b), (e), 6, 16(1)(

b) and (g), and 34(1)(

f) of

Chapter 30 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 2000, the Nova Scotia Business Incorporated Act, and Regulations thereunder, Sections 2(1)(o), 9(3) and 9(4), and Sections 59A(

a) and 59C(1) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve financial assistance by way of a payroll rebate to Bell Aliant Regional Communications Limited Partnership (BARCLP), operating as xwave Defence, Security & Aerospace (xwave) in an amount not to exceed $4,515,000.00, which was authorized by the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated on January 16, 2007, as outlined in the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated January 17, 2007; (

b) authorize the Minister of Economic Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
