OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 1, 2000, pursuant to clauses 7(

a) and 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the issuance of a grant or deed by the Minister of Natural Resources to convey a parcel of Crown land containing an area of approximately 0.4 acre, more or less, situate at Lyons Brook, Pictou County, and shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to Harold Edward MacNaughton and Eileen Violet MacNaughton, husband and wife, both of Lyons Brook, Pictou County, as joint tenants and not as tenants in common, for the consideration of $500.00, subject to an option, in favour of the Province of Nova Scotia, to re-purchase all or any portion of the land conveyed, at any time within 50 years of the date of its conveyance to Harold Edward MacNaughton and Eileen Violet MacNaughton, the said re-purchase to be for the consideration of market value at the date of the exercising of the option, as determined by an accredited appraiser, excluding the value of any improvements placed on the said lands by Harold Edward MacNaughton and Eileen Violet MacNaughton or their heirs, successors or assigns, and to authorize the Minster of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
