OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated September 27, 2000, and pursuant to

Section 2 of

Chapter 244 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Justices of the Peace Act, is pleased, effective April 1, 2000, to reappoint the following persons as Justices of the Peace, each for a term of five years commencing April 1, 2000, and ending March 31, 2005, with remuneration of $30,000 per year, plus HST subject to such adjustments as may be necessary from time to time where they preside at less than four sittings of

Summary Offence Court (Night Court) per week: (

a) Kevin Downie of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; and (

b) Angus A. MacIntyre, Q.C., of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality.
