OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Marketing dated January 14, 1999, pursuant to Sections 3 and 5 of
Chapter 308 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Natural Products Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Donald Newcombe of R.R.#1 Port Williams, Kings County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of office commencing February 15, 1999, and not to exceed February 14, 2003; (
b) appoint Jim Bragg of Truro, Colchester County, as a member of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of office commencing February 15, 1999, and not to exceed February 14, 2004; (
c) revoke the appointment of Stuart Allaby as a member and chair of the Natural Products Marketing Council effective February 14, 1999; (
d) appoint Henry Bowers of R.R.#4 Shubenacadie, Hants County, as chair of the Natural Products Marketing Council for a term of office commencing February 15, 1999, and not to exceed February 28, 2002; (
e) revoke the appointment of Brian Smith, as secretary of the Natural Products Marketing Council effective February 14, 1999; (
f) appoint George Burris, as secretary of the Natural Products Marketing Council commencing February 15, 1999; (
g) determine the remuneration for the non-civil service members to be $100 per day plus expenses; and (
h) determine the remuneration for the chair to be $150 per day plus expenses.
