Bill 36 (Legislature 9, Session 2)

Alberta — Bills

Bill No. 36 of 1942. A BILL TO REPEAL THE FARM CULTIVATION LIEN ACT. NOTE. This Bill repeals The Farm Cultivation Lien Act. The provisions of this Act have not been used to any very great extent, and it is deemed advisable to repeal it. Apparently there is little need for the special rights granted thereby, and contractors will, of course, still have their ordinary legal remedies for recovery of moneys owing to them. W. S. GRAY, Acting Legislative Counsel. (This note does not form any part of the Bill but is offered in explanation of its provisions.) BILL No. 36 of 1942.
