OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Securities Act dated November 28, 2006, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 7 of

Chapter 418 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Securities Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Paul E. Radford of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission for a term of three (3) years effective December 18, 2006; (

b) appoint J. Walter Thompson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission for a term of three (3) years effective December 18, 2006; (

c) fix the remuneration for Paul E. Radford at a rate of $200 per half day he necessarily attends as a member of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission, to the business of the Commission, in addition to necessary and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; and (

d) fix the remuneration for J. Walter Thompson at a rate of $200 per half day he necessarily attends as a member of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission, to the business of the Commission, in addition to necessary and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
