B.C. Reg. 88/2007, deposited March 30, 2007, pursuant to the CHILD AND YOUTH STATUTES (REPRESENTATION IMPROVEMENT) AMENDMENT ACT [Section 27] and the REPRESENTATIVE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH ACT [Sections 37 and 38]. Order in Council 189/2007, approved and ordered March 30, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders the following:

(

a) sections 7 to 10 and 16 to 26 of the Child and Youth Statutes (Representation Improvement) Amendment Act, 2007 , S.B.C. 2007, c. 5, are brought into force;

(

b) section 6 of the Representative for Children and Youth Act , S.B.C. 2006, c. 29, as repealed and replaced by

section 9 of the

Child and Youth Statutes (Representation Improvement) Amendment Act, 2007 , is brought into force except paragraph (c);

(

c) section 10 of the Representative for Children and Youth Act , as repealed and replaced by

section 10 of the

Child and Youth Statutes (Representation Improvement) Amendment Act, 2007 , is brought into force;

(

d) section 22 of the Representative for Children and Youth Act , as repealed and replaced by

section 19 of the Child and Youth Statutes (Representation Improvement) Amendment Act, 2007 , is brought into force;

(

e) sections 26 to 28, 31, 36 and 37 of the Representative for Children and Youth Act , are brought into force;

(

f) the Office for Children and Youth Act , S.B.C. 2002, c. 50, is repealed.
