B.C. Reg. 3/2013 , deposited January 18, 2013, pursuant to the FORESTRY SERVICE PROVIDERS PROTECTION ACT [sections 32 and 35]. Order in Council 11/2013, approved and ordered January 17, 2013.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders the following:

1 Sections 27 (5) (

b) and (c), 28, 29 (1) (

a) and (2) to (5), 30 and 35 (3) (

f) and (

g) of the Forestry Service Providers Protection Act, S.B.C. 2010, c. 16, are brought into force.

2 The Forestry Service Providers Compensation Fund Regulation, B.C. Reg. 64/2012, is amended by adding the following section:

Forestry service providers

(1) In this section, “services” , in respect of forest products, means felling, bucking, yarding, skidding, processing, chipping, grinding, decking, loading, hauling, unloading, dryland sorting and logging road construction and maintenance.

(2) For the purposes of

Part 2 of the Act, the class of persons who provide services for a holder of an agreement referred to in

section 12 of the Forest Act are designated as forestry service providers.
