OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated February 4, 2021, and pursuant to Sections 3 and 4 of

Chapter 327 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Ombudsman Act, and

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes on Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to: (

a) re-appoint William Allan Smith of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, as Ombudsman, for a further 5-year term commencing June 1, 2021; and (

b) designate William Allan Smith as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act.
