Order in Council 1418/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

pursuant to subsections 70(2) and 71(1) of the Health Care Consent Act, 1996 ,

Michael D. Newman of Vaughan

be appointed as a full-time member and designated as a full-time Vice-Chair of the Consent and Capacity Board for a period of two years, effective September 1, 2017 or the date this Order in Council is made, whichever is later.

Furthermore, Order in Council numbered O.C. 322/2013 dated March 20, 2013 that reappointed and redesignated him as a member and part-time Vice-Chair of the Consent and Capacity Board under the Health Care Consent Act, 1996 , is revoked effective September 1, 2017 or the date this Order in Council is made, whichever is later.
