Order in Council 938/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 21(2) and 21(4) of the Legal Aid Services Act, 2020 , James Stephen Pengelly of Bath be appointed as member and full-time chair of the Board of Legal Aid Ontario for a fixed term of three years, effective the later of April 11, 2022 and the date this Order in Council is made.

Further,

whereas James Stephen Pengelly was appointed as part-time member of the Board of Legal Aid Ontario for a fixed term of two years, effective July 8, 2021, by Order in Council O.C. 959/2021;

Therefore , Order in Council O.C. 959/2021 be revoked effective the later of April 11, 2022 and the date this Order in Council is made.
