OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated August 30, 2017, and pursuant to Sections 13 and 15 of
Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2004, the Police Act , is pleased to effective October 4, 2017: (
a) appoint Simon MacDonald, Q.C., of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Glace Bay) as a member of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board for a term of three years; (
b) designate Simon MacDonald, Q.C., as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board; and (
c) determine the remuneration of Simon MacDonald, Q.C., as a member and Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Police Review Board to be $175.00 per meeting.
