Statute: Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries dated June 6, 2001, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2000, the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission each for a term of office of three years commencing July 1, 2001 and ending June 30, 2004: Larry Hudson of R.R.#2 Granville Ferry, Annapolis County; Bill Biggs of R.R.#1 Wolfville, Kings County; Shirley Ferguson of Belmont, Colchester County; Kathleen Ross of R.R.#2 Falmouth, Hants County; and Stephen Logan of R.R.#6 Amherst, Cumberland County; (

b) designate Stephen Logan as Chair of the Nova Scotia Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission; and (

c) determine the rate of remuneration to be $50 per meeting plus travel expenses in accordance with Provincial Government policy.
