OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated June 7, 2001, and pursuant to
Section 10 of
Chapter 254 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Libraries Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Alan Wilson of Hubbards, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the South Shore Regional Library Board for a term of office of one year commencing August 2, 2001; and (
b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Alan Wilson and indemnify him from personal liability provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
