OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Insurance Act and the Minister of Environment and Labour dated December 2, 2005, pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 231 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Insurance Act,

Section 256 of

Chapter 4 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994, the Credit Union Act, and

Section 13 of

Chapter 7 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1991, the Trust and Loan Companies Act, and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of Douglas H. Murphy as Acting Superintendent of Insurance, Credit Unions and Trust and Loan Companies, effective midnight, July 28, 2005; (

b) appoint Douglas H. Murphy as Superintendent of Insurance, Credit Unions and Trust and Loan Companies, effective July 29, 2005.
